Samsung has finally announced its new additions to the s- series family. The company has jumped straight to S20 from S10 instead of S11 which is aptly named as the device will be launched in 2020.

Samsung is set to release three new devices. The S20, S20 Plus and the S20 Ultra all have new specs and design features. Let’s dive into what these new devices offer to their customers. The devices are set to be launches in the Australian. market from March 6th

1. Changes in Display:

The S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra will house 6.2 inches, 6.7 inches, and 6.9 inches respectively. The device’s front will showcase almost all screen and display except for a small portion for the front camera. All in all, it’s a sleek design that will impress a lot of smartphone users. The screen will also have a refresh rate of 120hz. This means that the screens can display 120 different images per second. A lot of competitors still use 90 Hz screens. This will show a major difference in games, whilst Netflixing.

2. Change in Battery:

These new Samsung Galaxy S20s will house large-capacity batteries. I mean it’s about time we start extending mAh capacities in all devices. The s20 will use a 4000 mAH battery whilst the S20 Plus and S20 Ultra will house 4500 mAh batteries and 5000 mAh batteries. The devices will support 25w fast charging capabilities but these devices can use up to 45w fast charging. It’s unclear about the total working hours these devices will be able to offer as battery life is affected by use, refresh rate of the screens and even the 5g technology that all of these devices will house.

3. Color Options for Samsung Users:

Smartphones nowadays speak a lot about the personality of the person. The goal is to have a smartphone that stands out in the crowd. Fret not! As the new Samsung Galaxy devices will offer cool color options for its new devices. The photos of these devices back covers are leaked but photographs really cannot capture the essence of how cool these devices will look in real life. Currently, we know that Samsung will be able to offer 4 new colors. Cosmic blue, pink, grey and black.

4. Camera, Cameras, Cameras !!!

The prime focus of this has to be the cameras. The cameras are set to shoot 8k resolution videos. On top of that, you can take high resolutions in the middle of taking videos with the video snap options. The device also has a pro mode for super steady pictures and even night hyperlapse modes.

The cameras will also have a single take mode option which takes a 10-second clip whilst taking photos. This will allow you to choose better photos and frames among multiples. In layman terms, The new Samsung devices will make anyone a pro photographer. It has been stated that this improvement is the biggest since the S7 improvement in 2016. The cameras will also have a mix of hybrid zoom optics and AI to ensure that you take the best photos and videos. The space zoom will be offered in the ultra model but no worries! The S20 and the S20 Plus will still have 30 times the zoom capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 variants will cost from $1349 to $2249 depending upon which variant you choose and will so be available from outlets like Optus, Vodafone, t mobile, etc
