Common Causes of Smart Phones Screen Damage

Poor Handling:

We tend to lose ourselves. I mean, we go carefree. And that simply invites trouble. Has it ever occurred to you that as you are having a gossip with your friend, you get a call? And without even caring to look at your phone, lying on the edge of a table, you let yourself be guided by the sound from your phone. Eyes still at your friends, one hand holding a glass of water or wine, whichever you may find fine. And BAAAM!!! Your face that seemed to reflect your limitless happiness suddenly shows traces of shock as you now turn around to find your mobile on the ground. The mobile has just dived for about 30 inches from the table while avoiding your hand. And now you probably have, at best, a phone with just a dent somewhere and, at worst tiny sparkling glass pieces covering your screen. Shit right. You were too carefree. The drop, because of poor handling. And it may happen in just any way. Like when you are trying to get the phone out of your pocket. When you are calling for a taxi as you stand by a roadside. Or when you are about to capture that million-dollar picture. So that's probably the first cause for having our phone screen damaged.

Bump or Pressure:

No matter how strongly phones are built, they somehow still remain fragile and frail. There seem to be some sweet spots and angles on our device that simply lets the little bumps and pressure get the best of it. Again this cause is directly related to being carefree, but for the purpose of an extra heading, we will be discussing this. When we are going through bad lucks, anything and everything carries the potential to harm us in some way. Such may be the case when we believe that we have safely placed our phone in our pocket, and even before walking a few steps, we bump into something solid levelled at our pocket level that hits the phone in our pocket directly. You get your phone out to find it with a broken screen. This doesn't usually happen as our phones are built to handle a few mini-bumps. But again, when we are having a bad day, anything is possible. Sometimes we just are so in a hurry to take a sit that we forget we have our phone tucked in our back pocket. And there you go again; your phone couldn't handle the pressure and had got a cracked screen. Sometimes you place something heavier other than yourself over your phone, and well, the result is the same. A broken screen.

Sharing Your Mobile Pocket With Other Objects:

This might not be true for the ladies who tend to save their phones in a separate compartment in their purses. But for the rest of us who are bestowed with the gift of laziness or who don't indulge ourselves with the sophistication of lifestyles, this is a pesky cause for screen damage. I don't know how our brain functions to think that we will fit whatever our needs are in that tiny little pocket of our jeans (even though we know that it's just a tiny pocket and not the Doraemon pouch). Sharing pockets among phones and other objects like keys and coins can be bad for the phone's screen. The constant rubbing between the object and phone screen may cause our phone to have some bruises on its screen. It is always good to let our mobile rest in its own separate domain within our jeans or jackets or anything with pockets.

Not Using a Protective Case:

While the deteriorations of anything and everything are inevitable, a few acts of care can definitely be a life-saving factor. Just as a sportsperson enters their game with safety equipment, giving our phones armour can also reduce the risk of injuries. The pain tolerance threshold of any phone is amplified by a protective case. The impact previously capable of breaking our phone's screen now won't do much damage. You can full-proof your phone with an all-around hard case covering. You can also only use screen protection and get tempered glass or hydrogel screen protectors. The choice is up to you, depending upon how robust you want your phone to remain.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Knowledge is the most powerful tool we can have. Readily transforming into a weapon or a shield depending on the situation before us. So next time you keep your phone on edge as you grab a sit beside your friend, I hope you will have a fraction of a second dedicated to your phone's safety. And the blissful moment may remain as blissful as it could be.
