Leaks and rumours about the Motorola Edge 30 and Moto G 5G

Earlier this month only, Motorola had launched a new mobile phone Motorola Edge 30 Pro. Rumours state that Motorola Edge 30 and Edge 30 Pro devices are somehow similar in terms of design. Also, rumour has it that people might get confused with these two models as they look pretty similar. The previous year only, Motorola had launched Edge 20, Edge 20 Fusion and Edge 20 pro. Similarly, this year, the company is also expected to develop various other mobile phones, with Edge 30 remaining on top.

Motorola Moto G 5G-

According to one of the leaks, it is reported that Motorola will launch at least 19 phones this year in 2022. However, Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) will be a mid-range device for this year, just like the previous years. Furthermore, it will be an affordable device with a 5G, expecting it to have excellent sales in the market this year. Let's have a look at the overall setup of Motorola:

From the leaked images, it can be seen that the upcoming Motorola Edge 30 will retain the triple camera setup on the back, including Motorola's logo in the middle. Along with a triple rear camera on the back, it has a centred punch hole camera on the front, as per the rumour and the leaked images by Evan Blass. Similarly, Moto G 5G is also expected to come with a succession this year.

Although, the arrival of these two phones from Motorola is still only a rumour as the officials are yet to confirm it as a fact. We can still dig deeper to see what these new models are offering, that is, if they arrive.

Specification and Design:

Regarding the specs, Motorola Edge 30 is said to have a display of 6.55-inch, which is expected to be of OLED variety. It's also rumoured to offer a 144Hz refresh rate similar to the Edge 30 Pro. However, the Motorola Moto G 5G is expected to have a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

Storage:

The main upgrade between Motorola Edge 30 and Edge 30 pro will depend upon the chipset department. The Edge 30 will be coming with the Snapdragon 778G+ paired with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. Similarly, in the case of the Motorola Moto G 5G, the 700 processor will power the gadget, which will have 4 or 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that can be upgraded.

Camera:

In the case of the Motorola Edge 30, the rear camera setup is said to have three cameras, including a 50 MP as the primary shooter, a 2 MP macro lens and a 2MP depth helper on both units. However, the Moto G 5G is also expected to have an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 MP depth camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera.

Battery:

Regarding the battery power of the Motorola Edge 30, it will draw power from a 4,020mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. Similarly, in the case of the Motorola Moto G 5G, there are three cams on the back with a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth helper. Moreover, Moto G 5G (2022) offers a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging.
