Nothing Phone (1) Price in Australia, Release Date, Specifications, Availability

The most hyped Android Phone in 2022 is finally out. Building up to this launch, Nothing announced many details about the phone however, the specific descriptions and availability of details were not discussed until CEO and OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced the device on 12th/July/2022.

Performance

Nothing Phone (1) is powerful, allowing you to enjoy a breezy-smooth performance. Octa-core (2.5 GHz, Single core, Kryo 670 + 2.4 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 670 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 670) Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ helps to assess multiple apps.

Design


The Nothing Phone (1) transparent back has a unique design with over 400 parts. It has a 6.55-inch 1080p OLED display, similar to the iPhone. The phone's lightweight and durable body are made entirely of recycled aluminium, and an industry-leading 50% of its plastic parts are made from bio-based or post-consumer recycled materials. The phone's dimensions are 159.2 x 75.8 x 8.3 mm (6.27 x 2.98 x 0.33 in), and the weight is 193.5 g (6.84 oz).

Durability is ensured by dual-sided Gorilla Glass 5, and cutting-edge vibration motors produce realistic touch reactions. The symmetrical bezels and aluminium frame provide elegance, lightness, and durability.

How Much Nothing Phone (1) Cost?

According to the models/configurations price varies in the Nothing phone(1). The Nothing Phone(1) is available in three configurations: a base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and a high-end model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

What accessories are available?


The accessories available in the Nothing phone are a 45W charging adapter, a transparent TPU case, and a tempered glass screen protector. In addition, the Type-C charger offers 3A current output in a universal voltage.

Tempered Glass Guard is a tempered glass protector for the Nothing phone, which comes with an accurate no-black border and an accurate design for the phone.

The Nothing Phone (1) case is a clear, protective case and comes for white phones and in a darker variant for black colour phones. These cases are shock-proof and support wireless charging on the phone.

Nothing OS


In terms of software, Nothing Phone (1) runs with Nothing OS, which Android influences. The company describes the stripped-down version of Android that only includes the "essentials." The operating system prioritizes providing a quick, smooth, and personalized experience. Nothing OS even uses the dot-matrix design seen on the company's logo.

Nothing has promised three major OS updates and an extra year of security patches, which almost matches Google's current commitment to the Pixel 6 lineup.

Nothing Cameras


Moving on, when it comes to cameras, nothing is trying to keep things simple, which is why it isn't just going after the numbers. The phone (1) has dual rear cameras, the most important of which is a 50MP 1/1.56′′ Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and support for OIS and EIS dual stabilization.

A 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with a 114° field of view serves as the secondary sensor. In addition, the smartphone can record 4K videos and the ultrawide lens doubles as a macro sensor. For selfies, there's another 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor on the front.

Nothing Phone (1) supports wireless charging and has a Glyph interface that makes the phone more aesthetic. The average mobile user can use their device for up to a day with a 4500mAH battery. Because it supports 45W fast charging, you don’t have to worry about charging your phone. You can enjoy your games, play movies, and more for a day.

What is the Glyph interface?

The Glyph interface is the appearance or form of a character. A glyph interface in Nothing phone has five lightning strips that control these LEDs. The Glyph interface in Nothing phone can function as a dedicated notification LED for SMS, WhatsApp chats, app updates, and other general notifications you receive throughout the day.

Is Nothing Phone 1 worth buying?


The unique aesthetic design makes the Nothing Phone (1) stand out—the Nothing Phone(1) constructions of plastic and aluminium.

It also has clean software that provides unique fonts, wallpapers and excellent adjustments to the notifications plane. Phone (1) also has a decent camera, and when compared with the 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor in the competition, the Nothing Phone's camera performance is respectable. But it has a low-quality display and has quality control issues. Nevertheless, if you like the software and design of a phone above all, Nothing Phone (1) is worth buying.
