Apple releases a new MagSafe Battery Pack

Apple has added a new MagSafe Battery Pack to its long line of Apple Accessories. Unfortunately, Apple hasn't disclosed the capacity of the MagSafe Battery Pack on its website. The battery pack is compact and comes in matte white colour, and is easily compatible with iPhones with iOS 14 and later.

How to Use the MagSafe Battery Pack:

It is straightforward to use. You'll need to charge the MagSafe Battery to the fullest with a recommended 20W power adapter before using it the first time. After the status light turns green, indicating the charge is complete. You can put the MagSafe Battery Pack to the back of the phone and have it attach magnetically to the iPhone. Your iPhone charges at 5W via the battery pack. You can bump the charging up to 15W by connecting the MagSafe to an adapter of 20W or higher. You may also charge the MagSafe Battery Pack by charging the iPhone while still connected.

While there are already many wireless battery packs in the market, as always, Apple provides its updates a little later but does it beautifully. The new MagSafe Battery Pack certainly matches the overall aesthetics of the iPhone. Though the power adapter and the cable don't come with the purchase of the MagSafe Battery Pack, the accessories for the MagSafe Battery Pack are soon to follow. The new addition to the Apple Ecosystem is always welcome.
