Honor V40 Launch Date Postponed

Honor V40's launch date, supposed to be on January 18 has been postponed to January 22. Honor took to Weibo to announce that the phone will officially launch and go on sale on Friday, January 22 instead. This device is already up for reservations with some Chinese retailer website.  

This awaited smartphone is expected to have a 6.72-inch OLED display and operate on Android 10 based UI 4.0. Honor V40 is said to have a 50-megapixel primary camera and a dual selfie camera setup with 32-megapixel primary and 16-megapixel secondary sensors. It has a quad-camera module with a triple rear camera setup, laser autofocus, and LED flash.

Hands-on images of Honor V40 have also been leaked ahead of its official launch.

Honor V40's advanced graphics acceleration engine, dubbed GPU Turbo X, was also shared by the company via Weibo, according to a report. The teaser shared by Honor features the advanced graphics acceleration. This feature is likely to boost the gaming experience in Honor V40.
