Everything you need to know about the upcoming Galaxy S22 Series

Samsung's upcoming flagship lineup, Galaxy S22 Series, is set to launch in early 2022. The speculations about the premium lineup are all over the internet. It might also be available later this year; however, all these are mere speculations until Samsung confirms it. In any case, tech enthusiasts have their hands full with the rumours about this exciting launch. Though Samsung has officially confirmed nothing, we get a pretty good picture of what the phone will be like in terms of specifications and hardware features. So we have collected the highlights of all the speculations about the upcoming Galaxy S22 flagship lineup here.

The iPhone 13 series have already launched and have blown everybody's mind with its significant updates. However, the counterpart for Apple's launch has yet to surface in the market. Samsung and Apple have always battled for the top place for their smartphones in their performance and design. So we are yet to see what Samsung brings to the table in their lineup this term. Diving straight into the specification of the upcoming S22 series, let's start with the screen.

Galaxy S22 Series Screen:

The upcoming Galaxy S22 series screens are rumoured to be slightly smaller than the previous S21 lineup phones for the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ phones. The smallest of the lineup, Galaxy S22, is speculated to have about 6.1 inches of display. The Galaxy S22+ is set to have 6.6 inches of display. The larger Galaxy S22 Ultra might get the exact size of the screen as the older Galaxy S21 Ultra. Still, it will feature LTPO backplane technology as available on Apple devices. This technology is set to decrease the power consumption of the screen and assist in better battery life. We expect the screens to have a refresh rate of 120Hz on all three models.

Galaxy S22 Series Cameras:

The previous Galaxy S21 series had a fantastic camera set-up that provided excellent image stabilization. This term, the Galaxy S22 Series will feature sensor-shift cameras to improve the quality and stabilization even further. There are also rumours that The Japanese manufacturer Olympus developed the new camera lineup of the Galaxy S22. However, there are no comments from Samsung regarding this collaboration. Many rumours around the updates in-camera with 3X optical zoom and a powerful 200MP camera in the bigger Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, The upcoming Galaxy S22 lineup won't feature the Under-Display Camera on the upcoming Galaxy S22 lineup.

Galaxy S22 Hardware Specs:

In some areas, Samsung's next flagship series is likely to be delivered using an Exynos chipset. In contrast, in others, the other handsets would use Qualcomm's solution. On the one hand, there's the Snapdragon 898 chipset, which will reportedly include a Cortex X2 CPU core, three Cortex A710 cores, and three Cortex A510 cores. On the other hand, the forthcoming Exynos 2200 SoC might be the first Samsung chipset to have AMD graphics, significantly boosting graphics performance.

There are plenty of rumours hinting that the Galaxy S22 will have a battery of 3,800mAh, the Galaxy S22+ will have a 4,500mAh battery, and the larger Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a battery of 5,000mAh. In addition, all three phones are expected to have fast charging capability and wireless charging for better battery and charging performance.

Galaxy S22 Body Design:

It seems Samsung hasn't yet decided on all the details regarding the new Galaxy S22 series design. However, since Samsung has made only minor upgrades to its design previously. We do not expect radical changes in the design language of the upcoming Galaxy S22 models. Though there are renders of what the phone would look like from Samsung Fans, these are purely based on speculations, and we can't be sure of what Samsung is going to do. However, the Gorilla Glass will only be featured on the larger Galaxy S22 Ultra. The rest will feature polycarbonate back covers.

There are more leaks and rumours to follow regarding the design and other speculations of the phone, which could provide us with a more accurate depiction of the phone. In any case, it will be a treat for all the tech enthusiasts who are eager to see what the upcoming Samsung is going to be like.
