In any case, there are certain things we should avoid to escalate the issue further. Here is the list of precautions and thing to avoid when your phone screen shatters.

Avoid Fiddling With The Broken Screen

Like we mentioned earlier, sometimes only the front screen gets cracked, leaving the LCD or Display component of the phone intact. You might just hurt yourself with the glass chunks that are too tiny to detect.

Avoid Using The Phone

We know that the phone has become an essential part of our day to day life; however, if the screen breaks, it is better not to use it any further. For the same reason, you might escalate the damage of the phone or hurt yourself. If the damage is severe, other internal parts of the phone might be malfunctioning as well. You might end up stacking your bills high if you use your phone like that.

Avoid Charging Your Phone

Dropping your phone might always cause other hardware components to malfunction or be slightly out of place. So, even if your phone works, you might want to put off charging your phone immediately. If the screen shatters during the fall, the phone’s internal parts faced a similar impact as well. Give your phone some rest and schedule a diagnostic for your phone.

Avoid Delaying Phone Repair

Sometimes we just put off repairing our phone if the screen has some cracks, yet the phone seems to run normally. It might just cause the breaks to worsen over time.
