Bring in Your Parts (BYO):

Today's’ era has yielded us magnificent mobile devices that cater after customer’s every need. Smartphones have become integral parts of our lives. On top of that, each manufacturer is competing with each other to provide the best devices in terms of quality, functionality, price, and user-friendliness. From apple’s iPhones to Samsung S-series to the emerging Huawei and Oneplus phones.
But, even with the build quality and today’s technology, the devices aren't completely accident proof. There are still chances of breakage, Physical damages and a plethora of other problem that may occur with your device at any time.
The first thing, any mobile owner will think when their device faces certain issues is definitely if they can fix it themselves or not. They try to look for the parts on their own. There is nothing wrong with that!. If all else fails then, they take it to a repair center. But, most of the repair centers in the market will only use their own parts. 
Well If you have faced such issues, no worries! Repair Mate offers its own line of Bring your own parts (BYO parts) service where customers are allowed to bring in the parts and we can repair it for them.

Why do we supply parts?

You might think, why doesn't everybody do it. They can be saved from a world of profit margins. The reason it is better to use the parts the repair center specifies is that of a variety of reasons. Some of them are as follows in terms of Repair Mate:

1. All of the parts that we use are of the highest quality which is on par with the manufacturer's specification.
2. Unless you have in this field for a long time, chances are you probably are gonna buy low quality, falsely advertised products or cheap knockoffs or are gonna pay way more than the parts deserve.
3. Repair Mate uses those parts that are needed! Our first priority is always to make the device work without much financial burden on customers. Hence, we will get those parts which are necessary rather than those with good profit margins.
4. All of the parts are on our own standards, hence we are able to provide the 90 days warranty on most repairs.

What makes our parts different from the parts you buy?

You might find a plethora of standard when it comes to electronic parts. You need to be able to differentiate between cheap low-quality products from the good ones. As we have had a long relationship with our suppliers, we know which producer products to use, which type causes later issues. It is because of our years of experience that we can reassuringly get you the best-needed part for your device.

Can we bring in our own parts for the repair? Bring Your Own Parts for Repair :

You might think what if I provide the parts for repair and Repair Mate just does the repairs on it? Well Sure! We do offer that service. If you can provide the parts yourself then we will only charge you for the labor to repair the device. However please keep the following points in mind:

• 1. We need to physically see the parts to provide you the quote on repair. The reason behind it is that we want to make sure that the part you brought us is of quality and is not faulty. We do have a standard to maintain when it comes to repairs.
• 2. As we are not repairing the device with our high-quality products which are constantly checked, we cannot provide you the warranty on the parts that you have brought to us from some third party unknown source. As we cannot vouch for that source’s quality assurance.
• 3. A fixed quote will be given to the customer which is not subject to any discounts or change. 
• 4. If the device itself is in a fragile state or if re-work has to be done potentially then, certain fees will apply depending upon the particular situation.
• 5. If the parts brought in are found faulty, the minimum charge will still be $49

Why do we check the parts that you provide us?

There are instances when you can find the parts for your device’s repair through online sites or mutual friends, but most repair stores will not accept the parts you have provided for repair due to unprofitable reasons.
Here at Repair Mate, we do offer a BYO Parts service. If you want that particular part installed in your device then, we will do so for you. The only constraint is that we need to physically check the part that you provide so that the parts aren't faulty, is compatible with the device, isn't a cheap knock off. If we do not see the quality in the parts you provide us, we can advise you accordingly about the risks.
